Ryver is a valuable member of the Guardians, the only person who can read the thoughts of others. Until he meets Ria, an apparently average woman, who might even be stronger than him.I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.I enjoyed the first book in Lipman's House Blackwood series, and I found this sequel had the same fun and flirty adventure, but came across more confidently written. It picks up where Book 1 ended - with King of the Vampires, Thorn Blackwood, mated to Guardian L [...]

I really enjoyed this book, but I do recommend reading the first of the series before this one, otherwise you'll be as confused as me.

When I heard Ms Lipman was releasing her second book, I knew I had to buy a copy. Since the blurb mentions a different couple than the main couple of book 1, I was a bit sceptical of I'd love the book just as much as Bound to Blackwood. After all, Lena and Thorn set the bar very high and I wasn't certain if the sequel could compete with Lipman's debut novel.Turns out, I LOVE book 2! Ria and Ryver are very different from Thorn and Lena, but not any less compelling! Ria is a normal human, or so sh [...]

I read the first book and I loved it. I’m always weary about reading the second book in a series, because you can’t beat the original! But with this book, I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it just as much as the first! I really liked how Ryver was the main character in this book. I was curious about him from the first book. This book has the right amount of action, adventure, and romance. The only thing I didn’t really like about this book was the language. I get how the characters are t [...]

Really enjoyed this book! I didn't read the first one and I didn't need to as this book was its own story with characters from the previous book in it. Great storyline and great characters! I am going to read the first one just because I enjoyed this one so much. The first book I haever read from this author and I am defiantly a fan! A must read!!

This was an enjoyable read and sequel to the first book, which as I understand was the author's debut. The story is interesting and the character development fairly strong, but unfortunately the editing is mediocre (as it was in the first book). Editing really affects the readability of a book, so although I enjoyed the story, I was very distracted by the disrupted flow.

A very enjoyable read. This is the first book of Ms Lipman I've read and it will not be the last. I found the characters well developed and the story line was interesting. As this is the 2nd book in the series, I plan on reading the first book while I wait for the 3rd book. I receive an ARC and this is my honest review.
