This book was absolutely fabulous! Once I picked it up I did not want to stop. The storyline kept my attention and had many different twists and turns. The characters were strong and developed. Jed was a no nonsense alpha male. He worked hard and took his job and life seriously. He loved those around him and expected to be obeyed, especially when he was trying to keep those he loved healthy and safe. Then there is Chandler. She is independent and has stayed away from home for 15 years because of [...]

okay, so i was dicking around on my kindle app trying to find some good western romance because that's sorta my thing, when i stumbled upon this little numberr me, in the world of romance novels, it is very hard to find an author that can write a romance with a great plot plus awesome sex scenes. this author has managed to do so, and rather spectacularlye characters have depth, the story never lags, and the writing is phenomenal. like, no joke i have never read a romance novel written better tha [...]

OMG! This is my new favourite book! I loved it from beginning to end. The beginning meanders and draws you in with beautiful descriptions - sights, sounds, smells, you get it all! And then the detail of ranch life made it even more real. I loved the tough heroine and the emotions she was dealing with, and Jed, the cowboy who is both the sweetest and sternest hero, who helps her come to terms with it all. ALL the FEELS here as well as sizzling sex scenes, hotter than hell spanking scenes and roma [...]

Fantastic!I enjoyed this book from page one until the last! Such a wonderful romance with an awesome plot, some danger and suspense, some steam and characters that kept me turning page after page! Chandler is a strong woman and she had me laughing out loud with her sass, but she more than met her match with Jed and I loved every second of their journey. No spoilers here, buy the book and settle in for an epic journey!

I absolutely loved this book. I was drawn in from the very beginning to this poignant love-story of a young woman returning home, making peace with her past, and staking claim in the future she was destined to have. The story was heartbreaking at times, but the emotional payoff was well worth the venture. I was enthralled with this stunning story of redemption, heartbreak, and love. When Chandler returns to her roots on the wide-open prairies of Montana, she must reconcile being cast away with w [...]

“THE ROAD TO CHANGE IS PAVED IN SELF-RECOGNITION”The story is intense, and it covers so many emotions, hurt, anger, betrayal, loss, mistrust, confusion, regret, revenge, and eventually, understanding, healing, saying goodbye and starting anew. “Life, death, love, remorse, agony, and jubilation.”Chandler Asher is now 30 years old and has come back to Montana for the funeral of her father, Charles Asher. Once he sent her away when she was fifteen, she never returned home. She was so hurt o [...]

This was a wonderful book with the setting so vivid that I felt like I was right there on the ranch with Chandler when she returned to the Asher ranch after being away for 15 years. When Chandler was 15 she was sent away to school and she never returned. She was back because her father, Charles Asher had died. Jed Brooks, who came to the ranch to work when he was 17 and when Chandler was 5, was there to welcome her home. Chandler use to tagged along behind Jed as she was growing up trying to fin [...]

Wow the writing was beautiful. It is so descriptive of the surroundings that youfeel like you are there. Chandler is like a lot of kids that feel like theyhad not been treated fairly by their parents. They go away. They stay away. They grow up a bit and find they missed out on life. Jed has always been there for Chandler, and he still is. It really is wellwritten love story of finding your way back. It has it all, love, tears, growing up. Thomas Wolfe was wrong when he said “ you can never go h [...]

Loved, loved, loved this one! Chandler is the 30 year old daughter of a man that she’d been hurt by over being sent away to school when she was fifteen. She was angry and stubborn, never reading the many letters and emails sent over the years, only returning home when he passed. Still struggling with her anger and stubbornness, she then had guilt to deal with. Jed was 12 years older than she and she’d always had a crush on him. But she was simply a child when she’d been sent away, and seei [...]
