Another Elise Noble triumph.I brought this book the day it was released as I love the Blackwood Security series so much I was not disappointed. We had been introduced to Nick in the previous books and he clearly had a story that needed telling and an unconscious desire to meet someone who reminded him to fully live. Lara was that person and their story is what kept me reading through the night. This is a must read for Elise Noble fans and for anyone who enjoys a great, well written, original b [...]

Great Book to read. Could not put down until I was at the end. This was about a woman that thought she was going crazy because she keep thinking someone was in her apartment when she was not there because of the smells and things being moved around but the cops did not think it was anything. So after a few months she got to the point where she had it and moved to another state and started over. She worked two or three jobs. But any way it is time to Buy the Book to know what happens next. It is [...]

Great addition to the series As always, this book is well written. It contains the mystery and romance that is typical of the Blackwood Security series. This book is about Nick and Lara, his new housekeeper. Lara has had a hard life and suffers from low self esteem. She also has a creepy stalker after her. Will something happen between her and her handsome boss? Read to find out!

An engaging story, compelling characters and an enchanting style of writing.Featuring Nick Goldmann and Lara (Croft- I´m kidding) Reynolds, the author has yet written out another story, which I personally found to be just the right balance of action, suspense, comedy and romance, making her one of my favorite authors. The 4th Book of the Blackwood Security Series written by Elise Noble is just as magnifying as her other books.Although it can be read as a standalone, it still manages to conjoin t [...]

Exhilarating and sweet - Leaves you wanting more!A combination of captivating, intense, dangerous with liberal and strategic applications of witty and amusing instances wrapped up neatly in a package of romantic. Elise's writing keeps you hooked throughout the story. Beautifully balanced in development of characters, the world of Nick and Lara is addicting. The story line teleports you to a world realistic just teetering on the edge of fantasy. True to it's name, the rush is very apparent howeve [...]

Lara did NOT know what she was getting into when a litte cleaning job came up. Nick may be a mess, he may live in a mess, but nothing can stop him from protecting that which he loves. Lara is different than the usual kick-ass women in the Black books, but she has her own strengths that compete with all of them and makes you love her completely. I love her self-consciousness and how Nick shows her there is nothing to be conscious about. I see a lot of myself in her, specially the cleaning habbits [...]

Sometimes it's difficult to find a writer that grabs you with their style, that's not the case with Elise Noble. This is the 4th book in the Blackwood Security series and, once again, I hated having to put it down even for a moment.Although this story has a larger part that revolves around romance, there's still so much of the action and grit the previous stories contained. The ongoing relationships between the characters is fantastic as well, as the stories continue I feel like I get to know ea [...]

Gold Rush is the latest in Elise Noble’s incredibly written stories. This one leans slightly more towards the romantic side with Nick and Lara’s story, but has loads of laughs and things going on in it to keep your interest up. Emmy Black is in this story, too so expect a certain amount of excitement and mayhem! This is another story that I just couldn’t put down! Elise did such a magnificent job of writing this and I highly recommend it!!

I loved Nick in the first three Blackwood books, and I'm so glad Elise Noble gave him his own story! This story felt a little more romantic than the first three books, mainly because the main character, Lara, is a much sweeter person than Emmy. Exactly right for Nick, though. There's still enough suspense to keep it interesting, and I loved the parts where Emmy came to visit. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

Initially, I read this as a standalone but have since gone back to the beginning of the series. Secondly, I never normally review this type of book but this one was most certainly worthy. I thought this really broke out, for me. The typical romance novel formula bores me stupid and I cannot remember the last time I finished one. However, Gold Rush fit perfectly into what I have always been looking for in a romantic fiction; a dash of action and absolutely no stereotypes.Fantastic job.

Elise Noble delivers an entertaining story mixed with the right amount of mystery keeping the readers guessing until the very last second. The tale is a romantic one, without being too clichéd. Both, Nick and Lara evolve through the book and have me rooting for them because that's how perfect they are as a couple! Fangirling aside, this was one book that I couldn't put down (kudos to you, Elise).

this book's different from the rest, being more focused on romance. it was still really good and elise's description of what a victim of abuse's thoughts would be like felt very real even though i wouldn't know personally. thanks for another great read :)

Stand Alone No WayEven though this came out as not apart of the trilogy it picked up where I last left off. I will never tire of The Blackwood Dynasty. Keep it coming we still have to get Nick and Dan married off.

I loved Nick in the first three Blackwood books, so it was great to find about more about him in Gold Rush. This book was a little more romantic than the other books, but I loved Lara and the story.
