A great addition to the series and read much like the first. I love how the series takes a different twist on the Van Helsing legend. The books seem to focus more on demons then vampires though. I feel like we're just getting a small peek into this huge supernatural world and I'm left wanting more. So far the series has focused on Throne of Lust and I'd love to see the others. Hopefully the series expands deeper into this unexplored world and the characters as well. In this book we got a deeper [...]

I love a good adventure, and that’s what The Van Helsing Organization delivers in buckets. Since finishing A Prescription for Delirium over two years ago, I’ve eagerly awaited the return of demon hunter Gabby and the Van Helsing brothers Esais, Tres, and my favourite character, Adrian. So when I heard Noree Cosper was seeking reviews to coincide with the release of A Dose of Brimstone I leaped at the chance to read the sequel before its release. I was not disappointed. The ever-deepening plo [...]

I received this book for an honest review.Gabby thought the drug made of brimstone by the devil was destroyed when he was. Now in NYC at the new Van Helsing Organization's headquarters they come across evidence of the drug while trying to find the demon who holds Marguerite's contract. How do you win when you find the demon behind it all is a master of deception? Faust is unlike any demon she's faced before including his ability to possess and control more than one being at a time. Add in a Vamp [...]

The more books by this author I read, the more I am getting into the world and falling in a twisted, morbid love with it. Gabriella´s life of a demon hunter has never been easy and boring, but now it seems that problems and dangerous obstacles are running at her from every direction. Her strength and powers are harmed by occasional alien presence in her head, her private life and relationships experience one turmoil after another, not even mentioning the never ending hide-and-seek game with dea [...]

****I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you****A Dose of Brimstone is the second book in the Van Helsing Organization series. I would HIGHLY recommend that you read A Prescription for Delirium before you read this book. It explains Gabby, the Van Helsing’s men, Marge, and John relationships and some of their pasts. It also sets up the many parts of the plot for this book.Gabby, Marge and the Van Helsing's are in New York City this time around and setting up a [...]

****I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review****But in all fairness, I wouldn’t have passed up another dark and twisted adventure by Noree Cosper. Going into Dose of Brimstone I knew I would enjoy it and I wasn’t disappointed. However, I was surprised by how much I loved it even more than the first book in the series ‘A Prescription for Delirium’. For the book-grabbers out there I will say, read her books in order. You WILL need the back story of Book 1 to properly [...]

Mama’s Thoughts:Wow! I enjoyed the first book, Prescription for Delirium, but did not expect to so thouroughly enjoy A Dose of Brimstone that I stayed up entirely too late for the second night in a row to finish reading it! Noree Cosper writes stories that you can’t help but get yourself completely caught up in. Unlike any other version of Van Helsing hunters out there, Gabby is strong willed and smart as a whip. She takes chances but isn’t doing so to prove a point, she’s the kind of fe [...]

Dose of BrimstoneGabriella di Luca continues her battle against the demons in this second book. The possessed Dr.Navotny’s drug was on the demons hands and also, there were vampires involved in this. How was it possible? The struggle was fierce and nobody to trust. Loyalties are at stake and something evil was affecting Gabriella’s mind making doubt about everything. Still, the brothers were hiding things from each one and close relatives came to help in this never ending good versus evil fi [...]

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. It would have flowed better had I read book one, but it quickly became more clear as I delved deeper into the story. Doctor Gabby Di Lucas thought she'd destroyed the powerful drug, Brimstone in Texas, but now there was a multitude of demons that plagued New York, too many not the rule out that Brimstone was not destroyed! She and the Van Helsing brothers were assisting Marge whose mother signed a contract to keep her daughter safe, but in [...]

Demons are swarming and Gabby and the gang are working hard to figure out what is going on. Secrets are piling up and lives are at stake. There is mystery, loss, and love in this story. Things get heavy and a few secrets are revealed. Gabby is doing everything she can to protect the ones she holds dear to her heart but it's getting to be too much for her. One of the brothers has went off grid and the rest of the group is doing everything they can to stop the swarm of Demons taking possession of [...]

It was a good story. It's obvious that it was a book within a series or trilogy, because there was almost as many questions that came to mind, as answers provided. It also left me hungering for more. I do NOT profess to be a professional book reviewer. I just know what I like and I liked this book and would enjoy reading more of the series.

A Dose Of Brimstone, Van Helsing Organization – Book 2More is revealed of each brother’s powers. The uneasy truce between the team members is tested as they fight to stop the spread of the Brimstone drug in New York. The action kicks in at the beginning and seems to never stop. I am **so** looking forward to book 3 in the series!

I have not read #1, but this was extremely difficult to follow the characters. There seemed to be a lot of editing/writing errors, such as misspelled and missing words. Overall, not impressed at all with this book.

This was an exciting read. Unfortunately, I had not read the first book, so I was a little lost with some things. I enjoyed the writer's style and will now be purchasing the first book.
