Another 5 star production by Alex Myers. He continues to grab the reader from the first line. Myers is a Science Fiction writer…but, in Life After one ends up asking is it Science?…maybe; is it fiction?…yes; he tells us it is. Does it provide hope…definitely!Myers, has the ability to dig deep into his intuition and extrapolate forward and create stories to which his readers can immediately relate and imagine the personal implications. Who hasn’t had thoughts about what happens when one [...]

Life After: Beyond a Near Death Experience is a powerful read. The author tackles the question, “What happens after we die?” Alex Myers tells the engaging story of Andy Stewart. A man who only knows he’s dead and not much else, but he’s on a quest to figure things out and we get to ride along with him.I enjoyed how the author combined the after death beliefs from various different religions. I also liked how one of the characters said that all the religions basically say the same thing, [...]

The story idea was compelling so I decided to buy this book. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book quite like this one. The story starts with so many questions that Andy Stewart has to answer about his own life and death. Even though it’s a work of fiction I feel like the overall message meant something for our perspectives on life, death, and what’s really important. Not everything in our lives makes sense at the time they happen. Stewart’s experiences in this story demonstrate how thin [...]

Life After is the kind of book that will intrigue you and have you pondering on life as you read it. It is a fantastic read that follows Andy, a unique and well developed character, and his journey in a mysterious afterlife. The book yanked me in and left me captivated as I started to wonder why he was there and what mysterious things were happening. What I loved the most is that while it is a very interesting read it really inspired me to want to live my best life now on this side of eternity. [...]

Marvelously thought-provoking bookThis book is an interesting idea of Heaven. I cannot say I fully agree or disagree; however I can state that my mind and beliefs have been challenged. I enjoyed this view of the afterlife, courtesy of Mr. Myers.

After coming perilously close to dying four times in the last 17 years (twice since March of 2013), this book is especially fitting for the spiritual journey I have experienced recently. I rarely considered what the afterlife may encompass. Instead, I focussed on surviving complications due to Crohn's Disease, two brain tumours, nearly drowning after having a seizure in a river, and being washed out when a flooded basement wall collapsed on me. In the past year, these experiences have led me to [...]
