A huge disappointment.'Tarnished' was good, 'Tempered' was absolutely fantastic and I couldn't wait to start 'Forging' but I'll admit I didn't like the start, at all I'm not a fan of f/f scenes and the whole first section of this book is about Cynthia and Daphne and it didn't work for me. Most of this book was taken up with sex and while yes we expect hot sex in a MC book I like it to compliment the story not replace it which seemed to be the case here.I was just so disappointed with this book i [...]

The writing style and everything continues to flow. Its smooth in the transition between events and there is plenty of interactions with the characters. So I'm very pleased the author made so much progress from the first book. As to why I didn't give it the full five stars like I was planning, all I can say is the rest of my review is under Spoiler Alert.Spoiler Alert.Spoiler Alert! If you don't want the story ruined for you, turn back now, don't read any further!I have no clue as to why Carmen [...]

DNFSeeing that this is a short book (125pps), I tried -very hard- to continue reading even though Cyn and Daphne disgust me to no end. Cheating, even if it's F/F, is not sexy nor acceptable. Continuously sleeping (5 weeks) with your best friend knowing she's in-love with you and helping her by having sex with her is not acceptable. It's gross -and Hank knowing/cool with it- is beyond my comprehension. I'm so sure, had it been Hank sleeping with another man -or woman- to "help him", Cyn would be [...]

Hah, I was right! (read my review of #2 for more). This gets 2 stars from me, but maybe that's because I just don't like books where people use drugs as a normal daily rutine and belong to prison due various more/less serious crimes. I probably shouldn't even read this to begin with. If the facts I listed doesn't bother you, then you would probably find this book interesting. Don't let me stop you. :*

Welln't get me wrong, ménage is something I'm slowly introduce to but I kind of hope that it would be added to the blurb or something. Cause in this series, it was all about Hank and Cyn. Then the author decide to through Daphne into the triangle but I didn't expect Hank to say yes when Cyn asked Daphne to join them. I'm more into that if the Hero found his girl, he stick her and no one else. Then the ending Daphne decided to marry Boston. No connection between them. So it's 2 3/4 stars from me [...]
