"But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face." - The Book of Job, 1:11The fantastically titled Fallen Angel is a story of mid-length that introduces us to three principle characters. Nathaniel and Devlin, who are two angels in the stewardship of the Archangel Michael. There's also Eloise, a young girl they are supposed to protect. Indeed, after a friendship that has lasted thousands of years, this girl is the catalyst that threatens to br [...]

This is the first book by Patricia Puddle I have read, but it is certainly not the last! It’s mostly about two angels fighting over the guardianship of a girl named Eloise. Although it’s a fantasy story about angels, Patricia’s depiction of temptation is surprisingly realistic, sometimes sad and often funny. The angel Nathaniel falls from grace without being truly evil. On the contrary, it seems that his innocence makes him more vulnerable and more likely to fall into Lucifer’s trap sinc [...]

Fallen Angel: Prequel is a thoroughly good read to what I imagine to be a great series from Patricia Puddle. She tells us the history of the main characters and what is to come in future books so concisely it was a pleasurable, interesting and compulsive read. This genre is way off the mark from what I normally read so I was glad to have had the opportunity to read a prequel and I am now hooked and will be an avid reader of the series AND Patricia Puddle. Her writing style flows and she is able to [...]

This was a thoroughly entertaining read. I find that I'm really loving the angel genre. It isn't completely overdone line werewolves or vampires so there's still quite a bit of originality and lacks the cliches of the former types of stories. This one definitely fit the originality bill. Nathaniel and Devlin are guardian angels and best friends, but lately Devlin is being tempted by the pleasures of humanity - mainly girls, which leaves him vulnerable to Lucifer's persuasions. When he neglects hi [...]

I thought Ominous Angel was an amazing book, and worried that the prequel would end up confusing things. I've always struggled when I see or read prequels because sometimes they just don't make sense. Patricia doesn't let her readers down though. Fallen Angel is yet another amazing book, and it's so wonderful to find out more about the characters and why things were as they were in Ominous Love. Everything made sense, and you get to see a different side to all the characters. You could even be f [...]

Nathaniel is summoned to be a new baby’s guardian when Devlin, who was originally assigned to her, doesn’t turn up or the birth. Eloise is special as her grandfather was a fallen angel. When Devlin turns up he threatens to steal Eloise if he can’t be her guardian. Nathaniel watches over her night and day determined to protect her against all evil.Paranormal/Angels isn’t something I generally read and I Found I really enjoyed the story of Nathaniel and how he became Eloise’s guardian. N [...]

Awesome series starterWho doesn't love a good looking guardian angel with morals? Or even one without? Nathaniel and Devlin are best friends, have been for thousands of years but Devlin has been far too interested in fallen angels. This book is definitely a fantastic way to start a series. Can't wait to read the rest

TEAM NATE!I loved Nathaniel in Ominous Love, and loved him even more in this prequel! We get the history behind Nathaniel and Devlin's friendship and Nathaniel's promise to keep Eloise safe. But then something happens to Nathaniel and sparks fly between him and Eloise. But Nate knows the consequences of human/angel interaction. Nate must battle between his desire for Eloise and protecting her, especially when his arch nemesis is out to take back what he thinks is rightfully his. Had I not read O [...]

This book was absolutely amazing! It drew me in right from the start and had me hanging on to the edge of my seat until the very end! Well written, it's characters are realistic in so many ways and the scenes are so well written that you don't just see images in your head, you are right there in the book with the characters!

I found myself smile often as I read this entertaining tale. My regular reading material covers a wide spectrum, but is far removed from this genre. I do occasionally enjoy checking out something new, but I have to admit, the only angels I’ve read about, or indeed written about, have been those wearing leather and riding Harleys. Here is a modern fantasy of temptation, honour, friendship, deceit, romance, lust, and so much more. As you might expect, where there is good, there is evil, and the a [...]

I believe that The Good Lord gave us a sense of humour on purpose. He knew how difficult it would be to face the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune" that were coming our way. So what better survival tool than a sense of humour? And hasn't it been said often enough that laughter is the best medicine? It is obvious from reading this book that the author and her creations have an excellent sense of humour. A sophisticated one. So they are doing nothing more than making full use of a God-given [...]

Fallen Angel is the Prequel to Nathaniel Teen Angel. I wrote it after some readers asked for more history on the two Guardian Angels. When Devlin arrives late for the birth of Eloise O’Conner, he can’t believe his best friend has taken over his position as her guardian angel. Though Devlin pleads with him to hand the child’s guardianship back over to him, Nathaniel refuses. The two angels have been friends for thousands of years, but after seeing how sick and vulnerable the baby is after a [...]

I wasn't sure what to rate this as I understand I read an old version of this, so I won't say all that I thought of it, but I will say it had some issues, but was very readable.
