Across the Music is second book in the Across the Ocean series. I loved book 1 (Across the Ocean) and I was very excited to read the next book.Across the Music is the story of Sophie and Gunnar…and Loki. In this book, we don’t get just one Icelandic hottie to swoon over, but TWO! It was almost too much hot for one book! (Haha, yeah right)We are introduced to Sophie and Gunnar in Across the Ocean where we learn that Sophie is from New Zealand visiting Iceland for an indefinite amount of time. [...]

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.Once again Heather Sosbee draws on her unique perspective as an American living abroad to tell a vibrant story with the country of Iceland as its setting. In this volume, we meet Sophie, a young twenty-something from New Zealand. Sophie has left behind the tragedies of her past and is attempting to start a new life, far from the father that is trying to control her. She lives with her friend Hilary and has just landed a p [...]

This is the second book in this series they are interconnected stand alone books so you don't necessarily have to have read Across the Ocean first but I highly recommend it since you meet Gunnar and Sophie in it! I loved this story Gunnar is just an all around nice guy and Sophie cracks me up but she has hidden depths that we get to see as she opens up to Brooke and then Gunnar. Then there is Loki and just sigh I can't wait for his book. This book is also hot as hell the sexual chemistry between [...]

This is the second book in series but you can read it as a standalone. So everytime I read one of Heather's books, it makes me want to visit Iceland and find my own Icelandic hottie. This book was no different, the chemistry between Gunnar, Sophie and Loki was HOT! I seriously need to find my own Loki. I just love how accepting this group of friends are, most of them have spent their entire lives as friends, while some have just moved in. This book does have some hard issues that the characters [...]

Once again, Heather has me wanting to pack my bags and move to Iceland. Across the Music brings the heat as well as the feels. Sophie, Gunnar and Loki have a great connection through their music and that transfers seamlessly into the bedroom. My favorite thing about this book (other than the incredibly hot sex) is Gunnar. I love that we have a hero that's not broken or damaged in any way. He's just a good guy, who's had a good life, looking for love. Then there's Loki, the gorgeous, tattooed bad [...]

This is one of the stories that you are not going to want to put down once you start reading. This book packs some serious heat, and you will love Sophie's story. Sophie, Gunnar, and Loki are the best friends you want, and the lovers you wish you had. And in great Heather Sosbee style, you will get some seriously smoking viking men. This is definitely one of those books that is going to stay with me. I loved every moment.

3.5 stars. Not as good for me as the first unfortunately. I found it too weird that they were both so chill. I found her annoyingly slutty and self absorbed. Just not a great read for me. I will try again with Loki's story when it comes.
