I read this story the day it was released and I love it! As a lesbian I wondered how I would relate to a story like this. my world a situation like this usually means the chick who likes girls ends up the loser. Lydia not only wrote a story which I believe people of all orientations can sympathize with, but her characters and plot are incredible. The suspense lasts until the very end!

Twin Sense by Lydia Sharp 4/5 starsTwin Sense tells the story of Layna, Sherri, and the Taylor twins. They are high school students in Ohio, on the tumultuous ride that is a teenage relationship. Layna is dating Kevin and Sherri is dating Keith. Layna and Kevin are much more serious than Sherri and Keith, but a promise ring given to Layna sends her down a path of confusion, leading her to question everything she’s been doing in her relationships for the last six months. I adored this book. I w [...]

[Review from when this was marked as to-read. I need to review this properly one day.]One link from Twitter put this book onto my TBR list. I'm curious about whether this love square will entertain.Too bad I'll have to wait until November. I would have bought it straight away, considering Mrs. Sharp's blogging record.

This novella debut by the incomparable Lydia Sharp is such a page turner. Okay, well, it's currently only in ebook format, so it's a clicky clickyyou get the picture. Suffice it to say you'll definitely read this one all in one sitting. It's too good to put down, and you'll want to get to the end of the story to find out what happens, so just keep scrolling, just keep scrollingNow that I've read it, I totally understand the cover, too. I love the yellow dresses and how similar they look and how [...]

This novella was a quick read--maybe it felt extra quick because of the pacing, which flowed so well--but the length seemed just right for the story. Main character Layna struggles, torn between the feelings she has for her boyfriend Kevin and surprised by her emotional connection to his twin brother's girl, Sherri. The writing is not only clever, but the descriptions vividly drawn and thoroughly entertaining, while providing romantic tension. Though brief, I got a real sense of the characters a [...]

See my original review On My Blog! I received a copy of Twin Sense for an honest review.Layna thinks she’s perfectly happy dating one of the most popular twins in the entire school. Kevin is everything a girl could want he’s smart, funny, rich, gentlemanly everything should be perfect right? Except it’s not now that Kevin gave Layna a promise ring and Layna doesn’t know if she wants it because there’s someone else. Sherri has been dating Keith Kevin’s twin for a while but when they f [...]
