I gave this book 3 stars because I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. it actually started out really interesting, and I thought the premise of the story was different than most, but at times it was predictable and the characters were kind of flat. It was still an ultimately sweet story though.

Good clean romanceThis review applies to all the Nobody Romance series. The plots are good, the characters engaging, and the writing fast paced. The reader isn't usually going to be surprised by the ending of a romance, it's the journey that makes the story. These are good well written journeys.

As stories go, this was an easy read, a fluff tale, with a bit of humor as well. Quite predictable outcome, but that's not always bad.

Her sister, Brooklyn, was their father's darling. Her other sister, Summer, is her mother's darling. So whose darling is April? With no tv, no internet, no phone, and only one bedroom, and the inability to leave the house at all, how will they make it through the month without killing each other?? Stormy relationship, explored well. Two people thrown together for a reality show with personalities like oil and water. Not to mention Dr. Jeff "expertise" with relationships as evidenced in his book causing April to put up walls of self-protection around her lack of self-esteem. I loved that there were so many barriers that had to be taken down. The characters had real depth and their interactions were like a roller coaster ride. This is a great read for anyone who has suffered from a poor self [...]

This is a short, holida-style read. The concept was kind of interesting as at first the characters seem quite opposed – the feisty feminist and the chauvinist psychologist – fighting it out big-brother style. However, when they got into the house, their attitudes weren’t really explored at all. The revelations about their pasts were interesting but their reactions to each other were not. Still, everyone loves a happy ending, right?

This is actually 3.5 stars for me. Really enjoyable characters that end up on a reality show. Sparks fly as well as tears and tender moments. Very witty dialogue and over all a really good romance read.

One word - disappointing. Great ideas but no depth to the characters who were stereotypes. The last third of the book felt rushed. No real intimacy developed. Oh we'll, better luck next time.
